Advantages to a Detailed Cutting & Shipping Lists...
With computer analysis of the home before any material is cut, typical plan dimensioning errors are eliminated. We actually build your home on the computer screen before it is built at your jobsite. Hence, the Pacific Building System helps reduce onsite delays and wasted material with “cut and fit” construction procedures of the past.
Computer programs are used to design the building envelope (wall panels, roof trusses, and floor systems). From these designs, accurate cutting and materials lists are produced.
While the components are being fabricated by PMHI, detailed shipping lists are produced to insure proper identification of the framing materials at the job site and reduce misuse. Where practical, framing materials are pre-cut to exact size to save time at the jobsite too.
Advantages of Computerized Cutting...
The truss webs and chords are cut on our computer controlled Alpine Linear Saw. Not only are all cuts precisely made, the computer optimizes the use of the materials for minimum waste too!
Single saw blade rapidly pivots to make all cuts as board passes by.
Saw operator selects group of truss members to be cut on computer display then feeds lumber into saw enclosure.
Only sawdust and pieces less than 1 foot long are waste from optimizer saw.
